Alicia, a dreamer and literature enthusiast, is the creator of "Literary Indulgence". She prefers fictional novels above anything, and is constantly found with a book on her. One of her strongest beliefs is that getting lost inside a book is a healthy thing to do for one's sanity.

Reviewing and reading are two hobbies she fell in love with and in a moment of inspiration, this literature review website was born. When she is not seeking salvation between the pages of books, she is playing her flute, being an active member in a few school clubs, and volunteering at her local public library.

Also, she is one of six children in her full household. She has two sisters around her age and two who are elementary school age. The last of the bunch is the only boy and he is a toddler:)  Amongst her family, their joke is "By day, our house is a daycare. For meals, it is a resturant. At night, it is a hotel.

Every hour in between, it is a zoo."

FUN Facts:

Her favorite book is Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen (until she remembers about twenty other books and ends up questioning her statment). Her hero is Robin Hood, which may or may not influence her favorite book choice. She loves pop, country, rock, and christian music.

Born and raised in Glendale, Arizona, Tyler has always had an ample supply of books. He never knew how much he loved reading until about 12, so over the past couple of years he's been trying to make up for lost time. He thanks Borders, Warriors, The Hunger Games, Goodreads, and Barnes & Noble for getting him to be the avid reader he is today. Reading has always been a nice escape from the stresses of balancing IB, KEY club, NHS, FBLA, Spanish Honor Society, and Marching Band.

His favorite book: Champion by Marie Lu

Movie: The Lion King

Music: Country, Rock, Pop, Eurodance, you name it.

Tyler would enjoy living in a beautiful place that isn't so darn hot and would love to visit Canada, Australia, and England. For now, though, he will just settle for the beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Ashlyn

Always having a smile on her face, Ashlyn can be found having her face hidden in her book or a pillow. She has a never-ending book list. She tries to set personal goals for each school year and summer. Books are one of her many loves. She is literally in love with books (pun intended). She can read just about anything, but her favorite genre is either dystopia or supernatural.

Ashlyn is currently in a relationship with a drummer. She plays piccolo, flute, piano, and is recently learning percussion. If she does not have a book in her hand, she can be found with an instrument or music from her laptop. Music speaks to her soul and she would not give it up. Her favorite bands are All Time Low, My Chemical Romance, and Imagine Dragons.

Another love she has is food. She only perfers yummy food that make her happy which, of course, includes pasta. She would just live on pasta, given the choice, but the world does not work in her favor, sadly.

She is a honors student. She is a part of NHS, KEY Club, band, and volunteers. She is extremely active and stays happy.

Fun Facts:

Her favorite book is The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.

She has no known allergies.

Emily

Emily is a busy teenage girl who has more books than friends. She reads to feel something, and never feels more alive than when she is engulfed in a story.

She'll try anything once, especially when it comes to food. She's a bit quirky and her favorite things include singing in the shower, dancing around the kitchen, and playing music. She feels like her taste in music is perfect and anyone who says otherwise is wrong and probably smells weird.

Her family is her biggest motivation and she appreciates having people who love her enough to tell her when she's wrong. If you asked her what she dreams of doing, she would tell you that she wants to be kind. To Emily, the world is a beautiful place and people don't smile nearly as much as they ought to.

Glenda

Email: Glenda@literary-indulgence.com

Glenda is... A bit odd. She's always happy, even when it doesn't seem like it. The first time you meet her, she seems shy, but when you become her friend you realize that she's far from it. She walks around her house roaring like a dinosaur, meowing like a kitten, or clucking like a chicken which might seem weird to some people, but her family has grown used to it. Speaking of, she lives with both of her parents and her younger brother who's thirteen but easily passes for a fifteen, maybe sixteen year old.

Glenda simply cannot live without books and music. She reads any and everything that is thrown at her whether its sci-fi, romance, supernatural fiction, fantasy, she really does not care. The same thing applies to music, but she doesn't really like rap or techno that much. As for how long she's loved reading, she doesn't know, but she remembers when she first picked up Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone back in second grade. I guess you can say that's the book that started it all.
